A place to rest ..... is the story of a little cherub that got a little bit tired of flying. He decided to take a nap on an egg. It made him think of a save womb. So far so good Only thing is ..... he slept a little bit too long. So long that he's almost connected to the egg. And now his little wings are starting to fade and getting of his back. If the wind blows a little bit too hard he will lose his wings.

The end of the story? I heard that he got a set of new wings from someone who is able to make those things (?). Ha, ha, don't ask me further who that person is

My mom loves this artwork. She saw it in an early stage and had a good laugh.

The landscape and sky are created with the use of brushes only. Some textures where used to enhance the contrast.
