Tell me a fable

I started checking the accounts of the people who are watching me. Seeing the name ~angelusmusicus-stock rang a bell. And when I visited her account I remembered why. Not so long ago I downloaded some stock from her. Unfortunely I didn't had the right inspiration to use one of them. Anyhow, in the meantime she kept uploading stock and I found the picture I was looking for to create a certain artwork that now listens to the title 'Tell me a fable'.

'Tell me a fable' has a link to my previous artwork 'Time without seasons'. In fact she represents 'Winter'. I could use the typical (cold) colors, but decided to went for warmer tones. The 'winter theme' comes back in the lighter colors from the brushes that were used to create her dress, hat and mask. I tried to make it look a little bit like wet plaster. Very transparent to let the baseline from the hair shine through. Normaly I would mask away a background, but in this case I used some parts of the background from the original picture also.
